Hello,

We have paid 2500 € to book a Line Training with NFS Directely to Mr Zaffar Khan .

1 Month after we paid, Mr Khan invited us for a "kind" of Ground School in his House.
It was very strange (no documents , absolutly nothing interresting and not official!! ).

After that we were supposed to start the Line training with a new charter company" Fly AirGb" , we have received some kind of contrats ( they look like not really official ...). We had to sign it really quickly otherwise they would replaced us .So we did it !
After aproximatly 50 Mails the "company" (real or not real company ?) says that they are unable to take some low hours pilots for the moment.... INCREDIBLE !!

When we want our Money Back Mr Khan said "I have done the Ground school and I have choosen your CV witch was approved by the operator so it took a long time I'm unable to give your money back I have made my job " ==> It's a joke ???

So for the moment we have lost 2500 € for NOTHING !!!! (We are 3 in this case so 7500 €)

I can give you more information in PV .

PLEASE BE AWARE ,DO NOT PAY ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY IT's A SCAM read the following message:

We lodged a complaint with the French Police and we are working with an international lawyer to lodge a complaint in England

Sorry to hear about your loss. It's hard enough for trainee pilots to raise the funds as it is without being scammed out of thousands.

What you need to do is read your contract with them very carefully. If it's in English then you'll want to get a fluent English speaker to read it. Establish what exactly the 2500 Euros was agreed to cover. If this company didn't satisfy those requirements then you have a strong case for getting the money back.

Hasn't this gentleman been featured on PPRuNe previously? My memory isn't what it used to be but I seem to recall his name from the 'Weaver' thread.

WE HAVE TO STOP THIS KIND OF SCAM THEY ARE KILLING AVIATION :=

What's killing aviation is not people like him but pilots willing to cut in line, not pay their dues, work for peanuts and participate in P2F schemes......He's just the pimp...

Hopefully you learned a lesson with line training/p2f schemes. With the 2500 Euro you could have bought a ticket to Africa stayed there for a couple of months, networked and potentially found yourself a bush flying job.....

Oh and GF3, what's even harder is trainee pilots buying their way into a job....Most of us were in debt after training, had a daily diet of $1 rice and bean burritos, but eventually earned our way into a job without undercutting the other guy by p2f line training......

This is what should happen to all those that want and are willing to pay to fly. Sorry, but I have no sympathy.

Don't expect any sympathy here Toto...you got in that mess yourself by doing P2F!

I would sit all day everyday at his front door waiting for him to arrive and make sure I'd get the 2.5k back.

But to be honest, did you not research P2F properly? There are a lot of scams about and if you don't do your research you get what you deserve really.

cw247 is right.

you have received his personal training. I could train you too on the system of the 320 in one afternoon for 2000euro and then tell you I will look for a job for you. it doesn't make me a scamer.

you have to know that contracts theses days worth nothing as your are on probation for the first 3 or 6 months and all they need to say is if they don't like you, you leave.

pilots are not in a position to deal anymore. you accept or your leave.
when my airline presented me the contract to sign, they say you sign or your leave and nothing in their piece of s... was in my interest. all lines were only about how much I have to refund them if I don't pass a test or a sim.
each line was black mail and my pay was the minimum pay imposed by their law...

all pilots these days are worry when they fly , they can show you the door anytime...

take this as a lesson, and maybe change your way to look for a job. you will soon learn that pilots are never happy.... most of them.
do like me, suck it up and live your life, there is more in life than airlines and its nasty world. .. stay away from these p2f and get a girlfriend...;)

He only wanted €2500 for line training on a 320?!!

I'd have been concerned just from that alone. Most other p2f schemes want 30k+

Toto a320 (http://www.pprune.org/members/406160-toto-a320) your a total hypocrite a total hypocrite, :=

Your happy to pay to fly, don't do your research, think your being clever by jumping the queue, sell your fellow pilots down the river, and clearly show no signs of intelligence at all.

Your actions undermine other hard working pilots who have done the single crew work, done the flying instructor route, done the cargo operations, and then when you totally  up you want our support and sympathy.

Your going to the police to lodge a complaint, can I lodge a complaint too about your actions undermining aviation ?

You have even posted previous threads on the subject and now want to stop scams !! :ugh: WE HAVE TO STOP THIS KIND OF SCAM THEY ARE KILLING AVIATION

Ive never had so much to laugh at on a Saturday morning.... :D

In the UK they have a story about you, a man goes out and buys some beans, off you go Toto a320 (http://www.pprune.org/members/406160-toto-a320), buy, buy those beans....

Merrey

Are you just here trolling?

You can't seriously claim to be a type rated pilot and then think that an airbus runs on Avgas?!?!?!? :ugh:

They burn Jet A1 which is less than half the price you've quoted per litre, and also a different specific gravity so your maths are way off.

EDIT: love it when someone gets caught out trolling and deletes their post :D

You don't know the difference between Jet A1 and avgas. You got chopped on a line check.

Please stay out of the sky. Don't even fly a kite.

I have no sympathy either but I think it's very very important and one of the most useful functions of PPRUNE, to keep highlighting known training scams and scammers such as our mate Zaffar Khan and Northern Flight Simulation.

Even for those who don't read PPRUNE, these threads normally show close to the top of Google searches, so hopefully we will help someone dodge a bullet in the future.

Plenty of pilots have worked their way up as flying instructors and with turbo-prop airlines. Many have got themselves jobs in airline offices, as cabin crew and as handling agent dispatchers in order to get known and noticed. And well done to all of them for their efforts. Others have done it, just give it a try...
Quote from elsewhere.

If you want to try to be 'clever' and take short cuts, don't be surprised if you get your fingers burnt.

What is astounding is that people fall for these scams without any common sense research! Best let those people waste their money getting nowhere and stay well away from that 'front-right window seat'.

@Rozenfeld, the first thing you should have done was to call Luxair (that's what I did as soon as I received this scam) and ask them about this contract. Luxair advised me that they never had any agreement like this one and they were starting legal action against Zaffar Khan. I saved 400$.
