Anyone that might be able to point me in the right direction?

I am looking for a Boeing 737 engineer who may be interested in a small charity aviation museum based on the South coast that needs some skilled voluntary help in restoring part of a Boeing 737-200 which has recently been acquired.

Only really required for perhaps a few hours a month to provide the experience and knowledge that we just don’t have with this airframe.

Any assistance offered would be gratefully received, even if it’s to pick your brains via the telephone?

Anyone know someone who might fit the bill? If so please PM me.

Hi jet2us,

I know you looking for B737-200 engineers however i'm a LAE on B767 & have also completed mechanical type courses on B737-300/400 Classic & B737NG

Have done Line Maintenance & overnight hangar A checks on B737-300/400CL & B737NG so i know a reasonable amount on these type.

Kangan Institute TAFE in Melbourne Australia (Broadmedows Campus) have a working B737-200 aircraft which is used for Pilot, apprentice & engineering training. You can have a look on their web site & maybe make contact with them. They may have a B737-200 instructor/engineer that may be able to help you.

I'm based in Australia so if i can offer any asistance let me know. Even if its via email or phone.

Hello!

I'm from the very far east, so can't help you "physically", but I have, I would say, in total about 5 years experience on 737-200 airframe & engines. Currently my company has basically stopped doing 737-200, but we still do 737-3/4/500 & NG.

Check PM.
