Vulcan To The Sky - How to Double your Donation! (http://www.vulcantothesky.org/news/457/82/How-to-Double-your-Donation.html)

Yes, actually I DID donate this time, from a seldom-used Paypal-account... http://www.fightercontrol.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/001_tongue.gif

This "donation-doubling" offer is valid till Friday 19 April 2013 at midnight! ;)

And yes, next year she will not be flying any more, so there is an end to this "begging for money"! :=

Just click at Vulcan To The Sky - How to Double your Donation! (http://www.vulcantothesky.org/news/457/82/How-to-Double-your-Donation.html) :ok:

I'm not sure about that? From the e-mail thanking the donor;

This way, he hopes we can clear this month's target and be well ahead of funding; being another step along the road to the full season and that we can also continue the next steps in feasibility of the Flying Life Extension programme.

(my bold)

In past e-mails it was stated that the FLE programme was looking into the feasibility of flying after 2013.

Hmmm...

I guess you are right, but I am not sure how realistic that Flying Life Extension will be, financially speaking... :(

From the latest newsletter;

With your help, XH558 could fly in 2014 and 2015

In the autumn of 2012, we told XH558’s supporters that due to a range of complex technical issues, it was possible that 2013 would be her last display season. We are delighted to tell you now that, following a period of rigorous research that is a tremendous testament to the skills of XH558’s engineering team and our technical partners, we are planning an engineering programme that will allow XH558 to fly for full display seasons in both 2014 and 2015.

Standby for more fundraising.

Just seen XH558 flypast just south of Birmingham in a westerly direction. Tears in eyes a bit as worked on her in 85.
