Squawking 7700 on decent into CDG

Not sure that there is much point in these regular postings about 7700 squawks. These are often relatively common passenger medical emergencies and, so, of no concern here.

However, since the thread has been started, and for the sake of correct information, the route was EDDM/MUC to LFPG/CDG. It was an A320.

These are often relatively common passenger medical emergencies and, so, of no concern here.I don't know how common passenger medical emergencies are, but they certainly account for around 90% of all 7700 squawks, and so are likely to be of interest only to the ambulance-chasing fraternity.

I don't have exact stats to hand, but from my experience working, a very large number of 7700 squawks are indeed passenger related. Probably not as high as 90%, but that's just semantics, it certainly is the large majority.
