With Boeing twin jets in mind, whether to reject a take-off or not was a hotly debated topic the other day.
As I understand it, if an aural warning is triggered before V1 do you stop or carry on and sort it out after airborne?

My last operatrion went as follows:

Up to 80kts stop for a Master Caution.

Up to V1 stop for an engine failure or fire, a system failure or any factor that seriously effects the safety of the aircraft.

That was on the B747-400 but Boeing policy is much the same for most of its types I think you will find.
