View Full Version : Registration tracking of past flights

Greetings,

I travel overseas frequently on business, and over the years I've built up a log of my flights listing a/c registrations, airline / airport details, etc.

Out of my 180+ flights I am missing two aircraft registrations that, so far, I have had no joy in tracking down. Flights are:

Cathay Pacific CX531 TPE - HKG on 25/07/2009 B777-200
EVA Air BR0857 TPE - HKG on 21/01/2010 B747-400

I'd be grateful for any ideas on tracking these down.

Thanks

PaulSLF

Hi Paul, have sent you a private message.
I had the same problem with some of my early flights. By writing to ATC at the respective airports, all bar one of the registrations were notified back to me. The one that wasn't was ex Gatwick and they replied that all their records for that early were archived and not readily available.

Paul,

Thank for the response and the PM - I'll have a look at using that, although my Excel sheet has served me well.

There are some sites on the web, but they only go back a few months.

I'll certainly try the ATC unit at Hong Kong, and I've often wondered about writing to the airlines as well.

Thanks again
