Tenerife South a la Kai Tak

Saw a great sight earlier on. I was on my room balcony when an Aeroflot IL-96 appeared on a short base for 08. Turned final Kai Tak style somewhere between 1.5 and 2 miles. Brought back happy memories. Pity I wasn't able to film it.

IL-96 a regular sight at TFS, certainly on Friday pm but also on other days. A welcome change to the regular Boeing/Airbus.
