I posted a few weeks ago about my worries re short connection times for my flights between Manchester and Liberia, Costa Rica. The thread has since disappeared due to the forum reshuffle.
Thanks to all who replied and am following up with my experience with United Airlines.
Happy to say that all went well and had no problems whatsoever. All flights on time or a little early. The service was excellent, will go as far as to say, as good as any ME airline. The cabin crew were good humoured but professional with no disappearing between meal and drinks service. Seating and legroom as good as any economy seats I have used and food was as good, or bad,as expected.
The return flight fromLiberia to Washington was highlighted by the FO giving a glowing tribute to the Captain who was taking charge of his last flight.Sorry I couldn't remember his name, perhaps someone here can remind me. As we got to the gate in Washington we were sprayed by the firetenders. Well done and a happy retirement Sir.
All in all, a very good experience. Well done United.
