Please can anyone recommend a hotel in Bardufoss?

The Bardufoss Hotel is the only one in town. The nearest alternative is some 16km away.

Bardufoss hotel full so have booked into the one 16 Km away.

I stayed during the summer for a week at Bardufoss and was in the same position - the hotel in town was full.
I stayed at a place that was a winter sports venue that was about 4-5km out of town and had a great time hiking around the local lake and up a nearby 4500' mountain over the period of the stay.
Wonderful scenery, found some old military relics.
The place was isolated, and town is a fair walk.
Takes some basic hiking gear a telescopic fishing rod and have a ball.
Very relaxing if you are the type that can keep yourself occupied.
