Never met this gent, and not sure if his obit should be here, or in "Where Are They Now?". He died in December, but I've failed to find any reference to him on PPRuNe.
As the most remarkable part of his incredibly diverse career seems to have been in the FAA, and as you are currently discussing ditchings - inter alia - on another thread (http://www.pprune.org/military-aircrew/507952-using-ejector-seats-underwater.html#post7693690), I'm posting it here:
Lieutenant-Commander Peter ("Toby") Davis - Telegraph (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/9881049/Lieutenant-Commander-Peter-Toby-Davis.html)
