Flew last Friday from EDI - BHX returning same day and noticed that it was the same aircraft G-FBEB. Just wondered where else it would have been that day - just for my own curiousity!!

It was Fri 15/2/13 on the 07:15 form Edinburgh and returning on the 16:50 from Brum.

Many Thanks.

G-FBEB - FlyBe - Flightradar24 (http://www.flightradar24.com/data/airplanes/g-fbeb)

If above accurate, seems to go back and forth between EDI and BHX everyday!!

When I used to work with BE at EDI it would quite often be the case that the same aircraft would leave EDI in the morning, fly to BHX, BHD, MAN or SOU and then just dot back and forward between those two airports all day. Some of the less frequent routes like NWI, MSE for CWL for example may see an aircraft go to CWL in the morning, fly back to EDI, then go down to MSE, back to EDI, then CWL before returning to EDI, maybe doing another MSE before retiring to EDI for the night.

There would be variations for seasonal or non daily routes for example BE had weekly charters to IBZ, INN or PMI and a few services a week to NOC in summer time.

Is there anywhere where one can find out which Flybe routes are rostered for the DH8, which for the E175 and which for the E195?

As far as I remember, EB did the EDI - BHX - EDI route all day. I was on a 5:30am - 5:30pm shift that day so was one of the ground handlers on both of your flights.

You probably could, but they do change. As an example, on the BHX - CDG - BHX route, the aircraft is normally a E195, however this week on 1 or 2 flights a E175 has been used.

As the FlyBe schedule doesn't give the detail, Flightstats on the web is a good place to start, they list the types including identifying which of the two jet types.

On libhomeradar dot com you can often find that sort of information.
