Thought any battle hardened airframes went straight stateside via the RO/RO ships / aircraft carriers / across the Pacific not around westwards towards Europe/ albeit if any units in SEA that rotated to Germany such as The Blackhorse Cav, that they would have brand spanking new kit from the states?
