Whilst still a shadow of its former self, the MAS does at least now include the following credit (after 'someone' gave 22 Gp a nudge...:E):
Military Pilots qualified as an EFTG, SERP or QMP in Section 4, Part O shall be credited the RTF Practical Test.
There are some other changes to Part O, including for FJ OCU graduates to complete civil licensing flying requirements on single pilot multi-engined piston aircraft.
However, far more generous allowances are still available for military pilots who wish to obtain NPPLs, particularly for any 'current QMP who holds or has held any Operational Category or CFS QFI / QHI Category'. You can subsequently convert your NPPL to a LAPL(A) in the same way as any other NPPL holder.....then proceed up the €ASA licensing ladder as you wish.
