Hey guys,

I know that Aspen Avionics has a very cool new product called Conncted Panel (CG100) that allows wireless syncing of ForeFight with Garmin products, like a 430, via its Evolution glass panels. The only issue is you have to have their glass panels. I am tring to find a similar sollution that would work without having to own their panels, such as with a G500H and 430. Does anyone know of a possiblilty here? It would be like a wireless Foreflight sollution but directly with the Garmin 430. By the way this is for an EC-130 B4.

Thanks

Sorry,
There is no such thing available.

Seems silly that Aspen doesn't make the CG100 a stand alone product. For $2500 a pop they would sell them to everyone with a 430 in any aircraft. Honestly it makes us want to consider an Aspen sollution for our EC-130 but are weary of the quality of low level HTAWS and obstacle databases compared to the Garmin product. Does anyone even know of an Aspen Evolution panel in an EC-130? It doesn't even have STC approval yet... I might make some phone calls tomorrow.

We have double 1000 panels in our B206 fleet, work well. They talk to the 430 quite happily, but no TCAS fitted yet.

No STC would be a deal breaker right?
