Our engineers are at the South Pole supporting Richard Hayes AS350B3 as they wait for a window in the weather to get to the site. As of 0700hrs LCL here in New Zealand the weather was still inclement and the site is in cloud at 13,000ft.
This reporting is from RNZ - so second hand. We are waiting for information from our engineers and flight crews at Scott Base.
As a fellow Canadian, I pray they are safe and okay.
