Hi guys,

Heard that since september 2012, a non UK examiner has to receive a briefing from UK CAA, answer a quizz of 10 questions before conducting a skill test or proficiency check on a UK licence holder.
Coming from the CAA, I guess it is not free of charge, there is also a fee to be paid to them ! Anyone has the information on how much is that fee ?
Thks

The Scheme of charges is here (http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/269PLSAmd.pdf) however if the tests are conducted outside the UK, there is no charge listed
Validation of non-UK authorised EASA examiners / instructors
When making an application for a non-UK authorised EASA examiner / instructor to be
able to examine / instruct in the UK, the applicant shall pay to the CAA a charge of £630.
