What are the typical Vs for the A380 ? (say average TOW/ LW , ISO, sea level . etc.. )
Vr , APP speed clean, App speed gear down, and landing/ Flare speed.
(need this to understand a report I read )
Thanks in advance.

Or: Like any other bigger transport category aircraft;) Otherwise it would not be able to fly approaches, land and takeoff on existing infrastructre and within a stream of traffic.

takeoff53, the 380 is not like other big birds. It is slower (and in the way!) of other large aircrafts. Everybody has the mis-conception that because it is big it has to be fast. It approaches 20 kts slower than a 777. So not only does the controller need 6 nm wake seperation behind it, but he also needs to add some space for just about every other heavy jet that will catch-up on approach.

20 kts slower??? What's the Vref, or Vapp, at MLW?
777-200 is 138/143 Vref/Vapp 460K lbs MLW
777-300 is 150/155 554K lbs MLW
747-400 looks like it's about 157/162 at 300,000 kg.

Mid-again, that's accurate and we now do flap 25 landings, so add another 9-12 kts for 777-300ER. Well over 160kts Vref

I believe Vs0 is 120, but in recording the approach at YMML, they approach very slow, and are frequently around 120-125 at touchdown.
