Some guy seemed to have something on his bucket list, that he wished to fulfill and accomplished successfully.

In my opinion:
- The guy that got arrested was obviouly Qatari or similar, any other nationality wouldve been mentioned/as usual. (1000QAR is actually not much of a fee, if you compare with the traffic fees)
- For people questioning the relevance of the statment of him being muslim, it is an integral part of the story and important imho, as Qatar sued him not only for sexual assault, but also for being in a drunk/intoxicated state of mind in public. If it hadnt been Qatar Airways but any western airline - the fact of his religion is not of importance, because the legislative authority would not be islamic law.
