The ABC news is reporting a helicopter crash in a farm dam on Monday afternoon. Pilot seriously injured in chopper crash - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) (http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-01-14/pilot-seriously-injured-in-chopper-crash/4464730) It occurred at Augathela north of Charleville in inland Queensland.
Pilot seriously burnt but alive. No information on type.
