2 man cockpit for complicated missions, engine redundancy, low level performance, range, war load..

Typhoon and JSF seem very different. Have the mission requirements changed? What did recent conflicts (Gadaffi) learn us?
The french changed course after Kosovo and will now have mostly 2 seater Rafales and developped conformal fuel tanks..
