FRTOL on conversion

Hello, I'm doing the conversion ICAO ATPL - EASA ATPL with UK CAA.
I've done all exams, and now going to take a A320 skill test.
According to regulations, I need to have FRTOL license before, but there are some exemptions. As I'm an airline pilot, and have the experience flying to UK, do I need to take this exam?

Could you please shed some light on it?

Your ATPL exams cover the theory part of it.

All you need to do is the partical part which is pretty easy to sort out.

Most flying clubs will have a RT examinor which you can use its 50-100 quid including a bit of practise before.

The test isn't what you might expect and there will be some stuff you haven't seen or heard of before if you have only operated in the UK IFR in controlled airspace.

There were ways and means of getting round it but to be honest its best just to get it out of the way then your license is stand alone.
