Air Mauritius requirements are higher than required for Korean Air... This company has been advertising for pilots for many years.. in Rishworth etc...:ugh:
Air Mauritius is the National Carrier of the Republic of Mauritius. It currently operates a fleet of four A340-300, two A330-200, two A319-100 and two ATR72-500. Air Mauritius presently flies to 19 destinations in Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and the Indian Ocean.
A320 First Officer (Job Reference: A320FO/DEC12)
Basic Minimum Requirements for all Positions:-
o 2 Advanced level with Mathematics and Physics at one and same sitting or equivalent.
Candidates without Mathematics and Physics at Advanced level shall be holder of a School Certificate with at least a ‘B’ grading in Mathematics and Physics obtained at one and same sitting or equivalent.
Or
o School Certificate with at least ‘B’ grading in Mathematics and Physics obtained at one and same sitting or equivalent.
PLUS
A valid ATPL license without restriction, and a minimum 1500 hours jet commercial air transport experience (such as A320/B737)
Or
A Degree or equivalent qualification in the field of Science or Mathematics from a recognised institution acceptable to Air Mauritius.
Age
o Minimum age: 20 years of age
Licences
o Medical: Class 1
o Licenses: JAA or equivalent standard with Multi Crew Conversion

- 1000 flying hours on jet commercial air transport (such as A320/B737 or above), or 2500 flying hours on multi engine JAR 25 aircraft.
