Hi
Can anybody help me identify an unusual aircraft that was over Gloucestershire yesterday (Sunday 30th Dec) around Midday.
Looked like a C130 - except it appeared to have a horizontal antenna array, or crop-spraying rig, half-way between the wing and tail-plane.
Was probably around 2000-3000ft, so couldn't make out too much detail. Engines were nice and smoky, but I suspect that's standard C130.
Have had a Google at various variants (such as 'Compass Call') but can't see anything similar - as the various radomes/antennas either seem to be fairly solid looking or arranged around the tail. These looked pretty flimsy.
Any help much appreciated. Thanks.
Stephen
