Noted on Radar an unidentified flying object inbound towards the East coast of Australia, currently radar paints show a long basically rectangular object, maintaining a constant heading at approx 100 knots ground speed, heading 270 mag towards Port Macquarie. At present heading and ground speed object is expected to cross the coast at 1400 UTC, pilots are asked to keep a lookout for this object and report to Sydney Approach if sighted with a description, heading and est speed

Almost as good as the one which used to originate from Thule USAF Base, Greenland, back 'in de good ole days'.....
(Thule - 750 miles N of the Arctic Circle, 947 miles from the N Pole, NW side of Greenland, can't remember the AFTN address....'Oldtimers'....)

I believe they used to 'time it' for its around the world distribution, and its arrival back at Thule.

From YPPH it went to FIMP (Mauritius) , and from there onwards, Westwards.
Said to arrive back at Thule in well under 30 mins....so our comm centre said.

Cheers:ok:

Seasons Greetings to all.....:D
