Anybody got a clue to this one?

albatross........

Done a little sleuthing and reckon it is probably a Stinson SB-1 Detroiter. Most likely G-CAGF s/n 103 of Patricia Airways & Exploration Ltd.

Reckon the photograph was taken in March 1927.

PS I looked at Curtiss first but did not fit the bill.

Thanks for that. It had me stumped. I was exploring Curtiss and got nowhere.
I will now look like a genius when I post on another site.:E
Not to worry you will get full credit.
Thanks again!

Neither a Stinson or a Curtiss. Look again it is a bi-plane.

After much googling I'm pretty sure it's a Stinson SB-1 too, a 4 seat cabin biplane powered by a 220hp Wright J-5 Whirlwind. First flew January 1926.
