Technically did NOT blow up while refueling.... While I agree you did just cut & paste, that is just press sensationalism. Not really fair to just copy.

It reportedly struck a canopy and exploded.

World of difference between

a mid-air problem, [some sequence of events leading to] aircraft struck the canopy of the fuel station, fire and fatal accident

and

aircraft was refueling and exploded

That's a lot of work to go to to avoid paying a landing fee.

I guess "Helicopter hits structure, pilot dies" doesn't sell as well.

Well...the H-92/CH-148 incorporates the HIFR (Hover In Flight Refueling) system. :E
