Perth Radio 6PR reporting a Cherokee aircraft ( NO, NOT another F#*^in Cessna, but a Cherokee...) had an EFATO this morning at JT at about 0820 WST and put it down within the confines of the ad. to the East...

The news mentioned one wing substantially damaged (Torn off..??)
Radio speculation...so obviously not an 'eye witness' report....

82 yr old PIC ok, 2 pax OK, one taken to hospital for observation for possible back injury....

Nil c/s given.....

Yes definately a PA-32. Was told the C/S but I can't verify so won't say here. Good outcome for the occupants considering what could have happened. :ok:
