So that'll be Nutloose Hewitt .. one hates to be boring and factual (and to agree with BEags!), but the dates are all wrong.

And there's lots of Ginger Spencers .....

And then of course there's always:

Lord Porchester and Duke of York http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/5518/princeandrewlordporches.jpg
and/or Earl of Wessex http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS5hJOUoO__Mf3JZr746Zm2TbG52QACbimU2GMeRIn YQqe0Khiw3A

.... thing is, all these aristos/cavalry officers etc are probably related/inbred anyway.

It's all nonsense of course. . . . but I did bite!! :ok:

..............and whats wrong with formerly Major Hewittt.....dont forget there was this classic photo of him in the Express, taken during GW1 in his turret of his mount, holding a copy of Horse and Hound :) :ugh: A man who knew how to uphold the values of Terry Thomas and get into the heat of the battle and things :P :ok::E

All good aristocratic wives know the need to introduce new blood lines to prevent the effects of in-breeding. :E

When ever I see pictures of him, I cannot help but get images of him extolling the virtues of Pugin on the Antiques Roadshow or the like, he just epitomises the image of someone who should be in the antiques trade.

knew how to uphold the values of Terry Thomas ... indeed so. One was serving in Norn Iron one Christmas in the early 70s, when we shared a Mess with - amongst others - the Blues and Royals who were driving Ferrets around Belfast.

Late on Christmas afternoon, one of the young Ruperts returned with a spectacularly - albeit not seriously - injured face:

Teeters: "What happened Rupert?"

Rupert: "Got hit by a brick"

Teeters: "Why didn't you have your cover down?" (They had square Makrolon "fish tanks" around the turret access)

Rupert: "No room for the champers bottle with the lid down - still - I think I got the bugger when I threw the empty at him!"

Quite a lot of style - probably be a War Crime these days.......:ok:
