I'd be hugely surprised if this was the case, it goes against the 'hub' principal and with a boss who likes control of everything this would really go against the grain.

With the recent crack downs on pilot baseings by various tax authorities it my not be so attractive if it is true.

Is it a crack down by local government, or was some of these company's just plain arrogant in how they operated the bases? If properly done bases can be a cost saving.
