Hi, anybody got any information on a Tomahawk overturning on landing at Dornoch airstrip late yesterday afternoon.

Glad to see the pilot got out OK. I'll speculate (seeing as it's a rumour site) that the aircraft is one of the Tomahawks owned by Highland Aviation.

Yep, their latest addition to their fleet, still with it's German registration D-EIBR.


Why is it always the nice new airframes that get bent, but the shaggiest nastiest aircraft in the fleet never gets totaled ?

Dornoch has developed small ridges, which can cause bounce, over the last year.

I'm upset to hear about the aircraft. Relieved to hear the pilot was OK.
