Perhaps wrong forum... However, noticed virtually all flights to UK airports are delayed by 1-2 hour plus this evening from TFS. Also looks similar for LPA over in Gran Canaria.

Any particular reason such as ATC problems? Or strikes?

From Eurocontrol: South west of Europe (Spain, Portugal) is experiencing high delays due to combination of weather and lack of staffing issues. Aircraft operators trying to avoid Portuguese situation are creating extra work load in Madrid and Seville sectors increasing complexity. Number of measures has been implemented to cope with the situation resulting in high delays. NMOC is trying to mitigate the effect imposed on operators.

Thanks for that. I received a text from a mate saying he had been stuck on a TCX plane for over an hour at Fuerteventura returning to NCL.

Couldn't be sure it's even departed and its due in NCL in an hour.

Thanks again.

Still going on today for Portuguese traffic. We've got a RYR stuck on the ramp due to depart in 2 minutes for FAO that should have departed at 10:55. Apparently most operators are picking up 3hr+ delays due to ATC arrivals slots.

Though his fellow company traffic off to ALC couldnt help but rub it in that he had no slot and could depart on schedule :P
