I am looking to get back into flying having left the RAF 5 years ago.

I have been in a non-flying related business but now miss the life and i'm keen to get airborne again. Don't want long haul but happy for anything else with a non-derisory wage.

I guess age is not on my side at 47 years, plus my 5 years on the ground however i do have:

Full ATPL plus class 1, etc
3,500 hours on 4 jet and 4 prop
1,500+ pic
a sense of humour

I would like to relocate to the north west UK and have noticed that Jet2 might be a good start for a CV. Would anyone have a moment to give me an honest appraisal of my job prospects, any suggestions on companies who would be worth a punt or who are recruiting at present and any other witty banter they see fit. Thanks in anticipation.

Probably better off asking on the Interview/jobs forum.

Jet2.com pilot jobs, payscales and entry requirements. (http://www.pilotjobsnetwork.com/jobs/Jet2.com)
