I've been looking for wartime photographs of RAF Tatenhill in Staffordshire. So far I've only found one of an Airspeed Oxford, that may or may not have been taken at Tatenhill. I'm wondering if anybody has seen any photographs of the airfield that were taken during the war years. If so then I would be very interested to hear from you.
I'm interested because I've worked at the airfield for the last eight years. On bad weather days I've explored and photographed a lot of the old buildings, and it would be nice to see what the airfield looked like in the past.

I'm staying at the Hilton St George's Park on Friday. However, when I put the hotel postcode (DE13 9PD) into Google Earth I got an view of Tatenhill Airfield (but no hotel). I hope that I'm not going to have to sleep in one of those old RAF buildings?

You will be in the posh hotel in the next field next to the airfield. There are now brown signposts directing you to St George's
