The PM will complete the following checks:

Turnoff lights OFF
A.P.U. AS REQUIRED
Logo Light OFF
Set belt sign AS REQUIRED
Pressurisation CHECK
Recall CHECK

What are the turnoff and logo lights and recall mean?

Recall prob refers to the EICAS system. Pressing recall will bring up any fault messages that need to be looked at.

Logo lights illuminate the tail fin. The advertising lights so to speak. They are usually switched off in the climb passing FL100 or 10,000ft, and switched back on in the descent at the same point.

And turnoff lights sit next to the taxi lights on the nosewheel and shine off at an angle of about 45 degrees to illuminate the turnoff path from the runway. Usually during takeoff takoff lights and turnoff lights are switched on.

Or even in the wing roots not on the nose gear.

Appologies and thanks for the correction - I fly an airbus and wrongly assumed the lights would be in the same place..

Recall has nothing to do with EICAS, we don't have it.
It is simply to alert you to any malfunctions on the Overhead, a place not normally in your line of sight.:ok:
