Hi,
I am an aspiring pilot from South Africa, looking for flight schools offering guaranteed employment.
Most schools offering this “guarantee” it only applies to residents of the country in which the school operates.
Seeking advice on this route or should one just do the traditional method by gaining your CPL and flight instructor licence and looking for a job? Would prove to be allot easier if one had the assurity of a flight instructor position to gain hours?

Don't pay a premium for guarantees like this. If you want to become a FI get qualified and go look for FI jobs. If you're a SA national I'd imagine you'll find it hard to get paid employment as a FI anywhere else without the necessary visas.

Define gaurenteed employment?

What's the contract? Perm or temp? Or hourly pay.
How much are you going to actually get paid.
If everyone is gaurenteed employment then there surely will soon be too many staff?

These are the things you need to look into

I hate to be the "buzz-kill" but there is no such thing as guaranteed employment.
Promised employment-maybe or the possibility of employment.
What kind of employment can a school promise?
How would a school know when XYZ Airlines needs FO's?
They don't.
It is very difficult for a school (in the USA at least) to predict how many Instructors they need in 6 or 9 months.
Unless they have a pyramid scheme in place where they hire, then fire when the new "batch" is ready.

Usually limited to residents of that country for one easy reason; legal employment.:ok:

What I mean is a few schools offer a 6 or more month guarantee flight instructor scheme but only for ‘local’ graduates and not foreign graduates.
The pay isn’t the issue but gaining hours is my primary objective.

Probably wont be able to guarantee due to Visa reasons. In most countries a working visa is very different from a student visa, and you would have no guarantee of success in getting a working visa.

Can you link to any such schemes? Don't think I've seen any in UK? Which country are you talking about?

@Student88
I am all up for graduating and looking for an FI job but they are limited in SA and looking abroad, potential employees tend to favour ‘locals’ and not foreign graduates.

I’ve noticed UK doesn’t have. But USA has a couple and Australia. Here is the link to the Australian one: http://www.airlinecadets.com.au/ (http://www.airlinecadets.com.au/) And another such school from the States is: ATP Flight School: Airline Pilot Training & Pilot Career Development (http://www.atpflightschool.com)
But all only apply to graduates of the country.
