Does anyone have any more info on reason why AFR is in a holding pattern just to the north east of Reims? 15000ft 340kts. F-GSPO

Possible problem either on or just after take off. He may have been 'Holding' to run checklists, consult AF Ops/Maintrol & dump fuel.

It looks like they are returning back to CDG. Just to the north of Paris, descending.

Well that was some really exciting posting. Had me glued to my seat. Do we really need every 7700 squawk spotted on FR24 posted on PPRuNe?

Sadly, with the growth of ADS-B-driven flight tracking websites that anyone can access, we're going to have to get used to amateur ambulance-chasers (90% of all 7700 squawks, on average, being passenger medical emergencies).

Indeed, don't you have anything better to do than simply showing off?! ;)
