Hello all,

This is my first post on this forum so here goes (Btw, I have used the search function and couldn't find the answer to my questions)

Questions:

Assuming I past the YOU session, what will be in the aptitude tests and the flight screening program. Any tips on passing it?

Will getting a private pilots license help me in BFTS? Because after reading through this: http://www.getyourwings.com.au/chapter6and9.pdf , I came to the conclusion that it would (the raaf thinks otherwise). If so is it worth doing any of these to help me further?
+ command instrument rating (or IFR)
+ Night VFR rating
+ aerobatic rating
+ formation flying lessons
+ emergency manoeuvre training

I have also read/heard a rumour going around that if you have 20 hours or more flying experience you jump straight into the advanced stage of BFTS, can anyone confirm on this?

Also do you recommending doing gliding training, or will it not benefit me?

Thanks in advance and please be nice :O
