Is anyone aware of an aircraft/flight training school operating a G500 in New Zealand?

Cool thanks, are you able to give details of the 500? I am looking for at hopefully doing a little bit of training in one.

Didnt the Cessna 162 come with them as an option?

Though I saw them on the demo one that went round the country last year.

Sorry, wrote that while I was half asleep. Was going to suggest Eagle flight training in ardmore. One of their 172's has a 430 I think.
Not that it matters :oh:

What details do you want ? There is a 500 in a commander 114 that was online at the hawkes bay aero club. You should be able to do some training in that if it's still there

If you are looking for an RNAV rating on the Garmin 530 or 430 take a look at RidgeAir in Blenheim
They have a great Seneca IV fully equipped with KFC 150 Autopliot Flight Director and coupled Garmin 530 the aircraft is also fully deiced with radar
Their instructor RM is ex GA and Airline and they only cater one on one, so you get some great tuition from someone who knows how it should be done with real experience.

If you'd read earlier posts you'd know that the OP wasn't asking about a GPS but the Garmin G500 which is an EFIS.
