How long will it take to complete 1500 flying hours if you work as an instructor? Just rough figure appreciated.

I averaged 80-100 hours per month, you will probably start instructing when you are close to 300 hours, so i would say around 15 months.

Depends where you work, full time?, part time? I knew guys in the US doing up to 160 hours a month!

Just remember though, it's the students that pay you. Give them quality, not quantity. You are there to teach them primarily, not to pad the logbook. 160 P/M sounds excessive.

I know guys teaching around 100hrs per month at some schools and guys having a hard time reaching 40 hours a month at other schools. Just depends on the school's setup, plane availability, and quantity of students.

I noticed your location in the solar system is Earth, so to answer your question, it really depends on your exact LAT and LONG.

How long it take you to complete 1500 hours of instruction really depends on whether you are full time or part time as stated, and the weather.

I used to instruct full time in the south of England, and could average around 80 hours per month in the summer but as little as 20 in the winter. So with that in mind, it could take a while.
