My thanks to the two Spitfires that kicked of an excellent BoB DIN at the RAF Headquarters yesterday evening! What a superb display, and the last low pass was one to make the hairs of the back of your neck stand up!! :ok: OK the speeches (well one of them) were a bit long but it was good to hear Sqn Ldr Pickering...what a great character!
Dissappointingly the RAF Hierarchy didn't feel it worth coming along to...no CAS, no DCOMs, no AOCs....SHAME!! It was left to a Lawyer and Doctor to headup the Top Table. I hope the 'high priced help' had good reason to miss the premier DIN of the year. More effort required! :*
Anyhoo....feeling distictly shabby this morning, a good sign of a generally enjoyable night! :)
