Hi everyone

I just wondered if anyone had an actual figure of what the CAA charge for all the ground school exams / licence issues (CPL/IR etc etc) / initial medicals / RT licence etc etc etc. Basically all the costs that you pay directly to the CAA in FEES to go from zero hours to holding a Frozen ATPL (not including hours in aircraft just for the actual sitting of and issuing of all the ground exams and flying licences etc) I think it's in the region of £4100 but wanted an exact figure.

Many thanks in advance

The caa website might be a good starting point.

a Frozen ATPL

There is no such licence!

I had two students tell me the other day they couldn't find the application form on the CAA website for the Frozen ATPL - and then asked whether they could have it processed as a same day service at the CAA. :D

However - List of Official Record Series 5 - Scheme of Charges | Publications | About the CAA (http://www.caa.co.uk/schemeofcharges) applies under Personnel Licensing.
