I thought Nimrods (if that's what is was) have stopped being produced.
Anyone know what just took off?

Yes Very :p Also it seems to be that the runway is now used for police dog training.

Possibly the Vulcan on a low-level transit to the Southport Airshow.
Yes it was the Vulcan. Went along to the Adlington end to watch and was treated to a beautiful view. Low pass from the SW and an orbit to return whence she came......

Woodfords runway is blocked off, nothing but light aircraft could get in & out at the moment.
