Hi

1) Unlike Airbus could'nt find the green dot on the speed tape of a Boeing 777.

Below 20,000 it perhaps shows up as "UP" speed. But what happens above 20,000? Does it show up?

2) In B777, If the heading reference is TRU in the descent phase, the ND displays a flashing amber box around the word TRU. Whats the logic?

Thanks

1) No green dot on the speed tape. But the min drag speed for any given altitude can be found on the hold page or ENG out drift down speed.

2) Most of the approaches (with few exemptions.... Thule??) even far up north are being flown with magnetic reference. Thus this flashing amber is a reminder to go back magnetic reference. (FCOM 11.31.8)

A bit simplified but I hope this hope this helps.
