White Catalina 31 August

At approximately 1630 yesterday, a white Catalina flew over Wadhurst East Sussex at around 2000ft in a south west direction followed shortly after by a Hurricane. Can anyone tell me where they flew from and where they were destined. A very impressive sight and marvellous engine noises.

The Cat is based at Duxford and was due to display at Bournemouth this weekend and also, I think, at Shoreham.

The Cat was indeed at Shoreham, plus three Hurricanes, BBMF and I would guess the HAC example and Peter Teichmann's Hurribomber, which I think I heard is flying agian after its wheel's up landing last year.

Just flew fairly low over Braintree, heading back in duxford direction, haven't seen that in years
