Have any of you guys / girls had your credit card rejected while trying to make a booking?

I have used various cards but it keeps denying my card, any ideas?

Not all airlines accept all cards. On the payment page, check the dropdown menu where you select the card type. Recently when I booked a ZED fare with OAL to my own, it mentioned Visa Electron can be problematic. Try a different card perhaps? Or, call them direct.

(I used a Visa Debit, no hassle)

If a card failed once, it will never be accepted again even if the reason was fixed.
