Aug 25, 2012.

A GA plane (unknown type at this time) has crashed miles from the KTVL airport. South Lake Tahoe California USA is a HIGH ELEVATION airport.

The crash happened at 10 pm local, with ''ear witnesses'' describing engine problems.
