Hello gents

If one experiences an engine failure at cruise level with the B738 you are to disconnect the autothrottle and set the thrust manually to MCT, then select the ENG OUT prompt on the FMC CRZ page, followed by the prompt corresponding to the failed engine. This displays the engine out cruise data and the FMC calculates engine out target speed and maximum engine out altitude at the current gross weight.

What is the difference between selecting left or right engine? I can't find the difference between selecting one before the other.

From memory, it checks the bleed requirements you are using for each engine. (APU on? Anti ice?)

Haven't flown it for a while.
