I remember Sid. Back in the 70s At those times they played tournaments at Pontin's Prestatyn. Sid was there as a commentating celeb (not televised) he was staying at the then Grand Hotel by the beach.

Gave me a trick how to never lose at 301/501.... Allow your challenger to double his/her score throughout the game. The challenger starts on a double, the double score has to be doubled and all further scores through the game have to be doubled (for the challenger) ending, the challenger has finish on a double doubling the double. No way one can win? Happy days and a few pints won.:ok:
