John, my email address is on the home page of the V-Force Reunion (http://www.vforcereunion.co.uk/index.html) website. If you want to send an email on the subject to me I can forward it to my fairly extensive reunion address list which will include quite a few who were around at the time.

Janot, the association to which I belong had a similar problem. In Guernsey we had an officiating chaplain, a lay-preacher and a vicar. In France it was a different issue and they could not get a local priest to lead. They got around the problem with the son of an association member who, although English, was a minister with the French Army.

As you have had no interest from the local parishes have you considered seeking help from home? You might also consider the Air Command chaplancy service who may offer advice too.

I tried the and the person I e mailed said it was "Out of his jurisdiction."He also gave me the Gaydon vicar's name. But as I said before,he didn't seem very interested.

By the way,the wreath laying will be at the Land Rover Gatehouse.

Went to the Wreath laying today Thanks John for organizing that.

I did visit the crash site last friday and again on saturday. Still very painful memories for those involved and moving as well for those like myself who were not.
