Folks

I'm looking for a good, reliable and cost effective permit agency for Russia and region, esp. Kazakhstan. I know Rusaero, but is there anyone else worth dealing with?

Dear dallas,

For landing/overflight permits, please have a look at the following:
Kazakhstan - Overflight Permit, Landing Permit, Diplomatic Permits - World Air Ops (http://www.worldairops.com/permits/kazakhstan.html)

You should get in touch with UAS in Dubai. In my opinion cheaper and faster in KAZ than Rusaero or Streamline. Fur Russia Rusaero or Streamline. They have the best access to permits and handling.

Try EVOJET. Much better than World Air Ops and not in the USA :ok:

The management of EVOJET are these two guys meanwhile located in Hong Kong:

#08-010: 01-07-08 Department of Defense Contractors Arrested and Charged with Conspiring to Steal Information on Fuel Supply Contracts (http://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/2008/January/08_at_010.html)

Google their names to get more of the above issue.

I'd use Rusaero or Streamline for Russia.

OPS1 I think Cartwright has "moved" on and not with EVO and that article was dated 2008.

We did some permit request couple of times through EvoJet, and they are best..UAS on the other hand are not that bad.. but EvoJet were impressive..

INS.AA - thanks for the tip, will drop them a line.

OPS_1 - I've used UAS before and found them difficult to communicate with. Just a bit slow and unresponsive, and this was during a demo they were doing!
